Tuesday – Canadian Pizza Research
We decided to do the competition Canadian Pizza TVC.
Ideas we have came out with.
Selling the strong point of 2 for 1 pizza price.
Our finalized idea.
Give the Canadian feel more, bring people through the process of pizza making.
Emphasis on the idea of 2 for 1 , use image all in pairs. shows tagline at the end.
Coca Cola
One of Coca-Cola’s greatest strengths:
“Enjoyed more than 685 million times a day around the world Coca-Cola stands as a simple, yet powerful symbol of quality and enjoyment”.
Coca-Cola used to focus its strategy on:
Three A’s – availability, acceptability, and affordability.
Today:
Three P’s – preference, pervasive penetration, and price-related value.
A Coke executive has said that he won’t be satisfied until “there is a Coca-Cola faucet in every home.” Coca-Cola’s mantra is “within an arm’s reach of desire.”
The Coca-Cola Company introduced reformulated Coca-Cola®, often referred to as “new Coke®,” marking the first formula change in 99 years.
Since the logo was originally designed in 1967 the company coca cola has gone through many re-brands, changing strap lines and packaging according to current events, campaigns and time frames but substantially the classic logo has had minimal change.
The original Coke bottle was designed to be recognisable even in the dark and once again it has been re-shaped and simplified. The cans are a clean pure red with just the iconic logo emblazed across it. It’s dynamic, simple and swift. The use of red dead space adds to the contemporary feel yet emphasises the “Classic” strap line in every way. By simplifying the packaging the brand has come back to its roots, distinctively reinforcing what made Coke the world famous brand it is today.
Coke is now engaging in a brand advertising strategy to market their drink as sexy and alongside this comes new design aluminium bottles, fresh cool looking coolers and other visually appealing bottle designs!

Coke Competitor Research
Pepsi is one of the most direct competitor against Coke as seen by their branding and manufacture of products.
Monday – Coke Zero Competitors Research A&W Root Beer
Root Beer unlike coke and Pepsi, they have gain popularity during WW2.
Because of war, the prices for sugar has rise and also became rare. So Coke have been affected badly, Pepsi even went bankrupt due to the same reason.
Root Beer has a different approach, they set up small booth at different towns during then and became a hit, the different is that Coke & Pepsi Tasted very alike, but root beer is totally different, it is like much more creamy.
In the later years, A&W Root Beer also came out with a series of different flavors like Coke.
The current A&W Root Beer Branding is more like country style.
By the way, its called A&W because it is started by 2 person which name starts From A & the other one is W.
Monday – Coke Zero Competitors Research Virgin Cola
I picked this as a competitor because when they first started, they have also came out with a range of product like coke. They targeted mainly the American’s.
They started in the 1990’s
But the company for the Virgin Cola came to a fall a few years later, due to some external resaon. Right now they still have their product of cola in London.
This is one of the Cola that in recent years able to post a little treat to Coke. because of Virgin agressive style of advertising, it once came close to coke.

Canadian Pizza 2 For 1
